Partnerships

In 2015 we broke away from our private funding model, which was becoming increasingly challenging and unsustainable. We initially, converted our existing net wealth donor relationships into commercial / corporate partnerships to test the new model.

The new framework immediately gave the organisation multiple advantages. Firstly, allowing them to develop their CSR strategies, giving staff members ownership and direct involvement in developing the future talent of their company, through tailored mentoring and personal development plans. Secondly, securing highly passionate and driven new recruits from a diverse and non-traditional background, complimenting the existing recruitment strategies. Our initial measures have shown that our recruits are in the top third percentile of talent within the organisations.

For us the benefits are endless, firstly and most importantly, we have a 100% sustainable model, which allows us to concentrate on the core deliverables. Secondly, the new model allows us to expand our services exponentially, being able to help significantly more youth than possible with our previous model. We have also been able to transfer all of the administration that was holding us back, with the commercial organisation taking full ownership over funding, administration, personal development and management, allowing us to focus on improving the quality of programmes, supervision and impact.

The criteria for a commercial partnership is not set in stone, although we look to our partners to support a minimum of five new recruits, a positive and empowering environment where our recruits can be happy and prosper is most important. Each of our country co-ordinators manages their own corporate relationships depending on regional requirements. We are always on the look out for new commercial partnerships and our country co-ordinator lead will be knocking on your door very soon.

Partnerships, Hand2hand Foundation create the opportunity and environment to help disadvantaged youth. We focus on early stage prevention programme.Quite simply, we create the opportunity and environment to help disadvantaged youth turn their lives around. We focus on early stage prevention programmes, identifying young people who have been failed by society, and other traditional support structures. Our youth are between the age of 16 and 26 with the majority at school age. Suhail Hanif, Founder and Social Entrepreneur, was frustrated by the lack of opportunities and environment for disadvantaged and excluded youth trapped by inter-generational poverty.
